Returns are at our discretion and are evaluated on a case by case basis. We may offer a choice of solutions to resolve an issue including tips for use, a replacement, an exchange, a store credit, or a refund. All returns or exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of your purchase date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be only lightly used and in the same packaging in which you received it.
Please note: shipping costs are non-refundable, unless it is the result of our error such as an incorrect or defective item. You will be responsible for paying your return shipping costs, which will be deducted from your credit or refund.
If you need to return a product, please follow these steps:
Contact our customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of your purchase date to initiate the return process. Refunds are not issued after 30 days of purchase. Please provide your order number, the name of the product you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
Our customer support team will evaluate the return and if it is approved, a return label will be sent to you by email.
Carefully package the product and ship it using the return label within 7 days.
Once we receive the returned product and inspect it to ensure it meets the return criteria, we will process your return accordingly.
Refunds and Credits
After receiving and inspecting your return, we will process it, minus the return shipping costs. If a refund is issued, it goes to the original method of payment used during the purchase. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution.
If you wish to exchange a product, please follow the return process as described above, and let us know in your initial communication that you would like an exchange. Once your return is approved, we will ship your new product or you will receive a store credit. You can then use this credit to place a new order for any desired product.
Late or Missing Deliveries
Due to the rural location of our warehouse, packages are sometimes dropped off at our closest UPS Store for pickup by USPS. Occasionally a package is not scanned in by the postal driver and may be delayed as a result. When tracking a package sent via USPS we recommend entering the tracking number directly into the USPS website instead of the Aftership app linked on our website. We cannot be responsible for orders missing due to inaccurate addresses.
Temperature Fluctuations During Shipping
Our tallow skincare products are not stabilized by heavy waxes or emulsifying agents and therefore may melt or change consistency during shipping due to fluctuations in temperature. We do not accept returns for products altered by changes in temperature, as it is beyond our control. While it may not arrive as expected this does not affect the potency of the product. Contact us and we will provide suggestions for how to address this circumstance to still enjoy the benefits of the product.
It's important to note that our skincare products, while incredibly nourishing for your skin, may differ from conventional skincare products you have used. We've taken great care to create products that are as close to nature as possible, and we believe in the long-term benefits they provide for your skin.
Due to the nutrient-dense nature of our products, some individuals may experience an adjustment period as their skin adapts to this new, holistic approach. This is normal and often a sign that your skin is detoxifying and embracing the wholesome ingredients we offer. We recommend that you give your skin time to adjust to our products, usually around 2-3 weeks, to fully experience the benefits.
