We know how important it is to keep plastics and toxic chemicals out of our oceans . . . and off our bodies!

Our long-lasting Hair Conditioners are easy-to-use solid bars made with decadent butters and oils carefully selected for their hair nourishing properties.  Apply either after Herbal ACV Hair Rinse or by itself.  Available in Unscented, Citrus, Floral, or Shrub and packaged in a biodegradable wrap.

Our formulation features a natural emulsifier that delivers a blend of nutritious oils and butters for shine, silkiness, and bounce.

If you prefer an all natural hair oil instead, try our Mending Oil, which features all the oils found in our Conditioner bar, with the addition of a lovely, fresh-smelling essential oil blend

Directions:  We recommend washing your hair 2 to 3 times per week at the most.  Experiment to find your best way to use this Conditioner Bar, keeping in mind you may not need it every time you wash your hair.
After shampooing, rub conditioner directly onto hair, focusing on the driest parts.  Use less for oily to normal hair, more for dry and damaged hair.  It serves well as a leave-in conditioner if you wish.  Rinse with warm water, following with cool water.  Towel drying is helpful before either air drying or blow drying.
Keep Conditioner Bar on a soap dish or sponge between uses for longest life.
Natural Ingredients for Hair Care -
BTMS-25 - a natural emulsifier and mild conditioner.  It is comprised of plant materials: 25% behentrimonium methosulfate and 75% cetearyl alcohol.  Doesn't sound like something we would include in our products, right?  While we steadfastly use only ingredients that are as pure and natural as possible, we made a minor concession for our Hair Conditioner.  We opted for this milder, safer ingredient because it scores only a 1 in the EWG database as compared to other emulsifiers, including BTMS-50, which scores a 3 and contains butylene glycol, known to be harmful to marine life.
Chemicals found in commercial shampoo and conditioners make their way into the oceans, infecting fish and other marine wildlife.  We feel we found a safer, plastic free hair solution that is biodegradable, natural and nourishing -- a win-win in our book!
Murumuru Butterconsists of laureic, myristic, and oleic acid, as well as vitamins A and C. These nutrients helps to smooth hair so it looks smooth and shiny without looking greasy.
Tucuma Butterunusually rich in laureic, myristic and oleic acids; it is thus considered to have excellent emollient properties. As well, it is high in vitamin A, and its antioxidant properties gives a natural silicone-gloss to even dry and damaged hair.
Emu OilClinical studies have shown that Emu Oil can reawaken dormant hair follicles and improve hair growth. It nourishes the roots and reduces inflammation to bring them back to health.
Abyssinian Oilimproves manageability, shine, and deeply moisturizes.  Abyssinian oil is similar in nature to Argan oil. It is easily absorbed into hair, giving a boost to shine and condition even if hair is dry. It contains a high percentage of an Omega-9 fatty acid that helps to give hair a glossy feel.

Broccoli Seed OilIts excellent antioxidant profile makes Brocccoli Seed Oil an easy substitute for the activity of silicones where the film forming activity results in a natural shine, and cuticle smoothing of the hair while preventing oxidation.

Camellia Seed Oil - conditions hair while unblocking pores in the scalp. It also stimulates hair growth. The high content of Omega-9 fatty acid helps control water loss and makes strands softer and more pliable.
Sweet Almond Oilrich in proteins, Olein Glyceride Linoleic Acid, and Vitamin D, and is considered extremely nourishing to hair and skin through moisturization - particularly when used regularly.
Jojoba Oila favorite carrier oil for hair, it is actually a liquid wax. It is known to closely resembles the sebum of the skin, and is rich in vitamin E. This gives a healthy looking complexion to your scalp.
Meadowfoam Oil - rich in naturally occurring tocopherols, it is one of the most stable lipids known.  Meadowfoam Oil has wonderful moisturizing and rejuvenating properties for hair, scalp, and skin.
Castor Oilpressed from the seeds of the castor bean plant, castor oil has been used for health and beauty for a millennium. It is added to conditioners to treat split hairs and add volume.
Essential Oil Blends:
Shrub - Rosemary and Himalayan cedarwood
Citrus - Orange, lemon, tea tree, rosemary, frankincense, and eucalyptus
Floral - Lavender, Mandarin, Geranium, Marjoram Sweet, Frankincense, Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang

This conditioner bar needs to be used carefully in small amounts on dry hair. It helps tame the ends of my hair that get a little dry, but if I use too much it will weigh my fine hair down. I also use a bit on the back of my granddaughter's hair which is baby fine and gets tangled from sleeping. Then I can comb through it without hurting her. The bar will last forever!

This conditioner didn’t work out for my extremely fine hair (sadly) as it weighed it down a bit; however, I’m still giving it five stars because it works well as a shaving bar AND a solid lotion bar. When I reviewed the ingredients, I realized it would be awesome on my skin so I gave it a try and it’s amazingly moisturizing and sinks in wonderfully! It may work as a conditioner for coarser, thicker hair but I suggest trying it as a skin moisturizer as well - you won’t be disappointed!
