Natural Ingredients for Skincare and Their Benefits:

The star ingredient in all of our balms is our Grassfed Tallow - Homegrown and dry rendered in-house, this exceptionally nutritious fat is minimally processed for maximum benefit.  Tallow is a traditional skin moisturizer that has stood the test of time for its luxurious emollient properties and now plays an important role in skincare because of its nutritional bioavailability.  Read more about our tallow here. 

Organic Tsubaki Oil — A rich source of oleic acid (Omega-9), polyphenols, vitamins A, D, C, and E, no wonder camellia japonica (tsubaki) oil has been cherished by our customers and by Asian women for centuries for its ability to refine mature skin and nourish the complexion.  It protects skin from free radical damage.  Its composition is similar to sebum; the oil naturally produced by human skin.  Ours is organic and cold pressed, feels light and absorbs quickly, leaving a silky feel, making it an ideal companion to our tallow!

Organic Beeswax -- Acts as both a humectant and an emollient, we add a small amount to help protect this product, extending its shelf life.  It also helps keep this balm smooth and creamy.   

Organic Lavendin Essential Oil — Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial, and a mild irritant (moves stagnant blood and lymph) this oil also lends a calming and soothing scent to our products.
